Cursor App Tunneling

Cursor on your phone and tablet.

Steer agent chats from anywhere. A Windows PC still runs the AI — CAT Host on the computer, phone or tablet talks over HTTPS.

What CAT is

CAT (Cursor App Tunneling) is a phone and tablet remote for the Cursor IDE on a Windows PC. Open projects stay on the desktop; you approve, prompt, and watch agents from your pocket or a tablet. Your repo stays on the PC. Host runs there; the remote reaches it through CAT over HTTPS.

How it works

  1. 1

Install CAT Host on each Windows PC

Every computer that runs Cursor needs its own Host. Leave it in the tray. Extra PCs are a later paid tier (Nerd / Institution); unlocked for everyone today.

  2. 2

    Point Cursor at CAT

Shortcut Target: quoted Cursor.exe, then --classic --remote-debugging-port=9222. After a Host or Cursor update, relaunch from the tray so those flags come back.

  3. 3

Sign in on your phone or tablet

When CAT Host is live, tap Connect. No extra VPN or port-forwarding.
